Organize a Bus Trip
Traveling to a quilt show as a group always adds to the fun. We invite guilds or other groups to charter a bus and come join the fun at Road to California Quilters’ Showcase. Not only will you leave the driving to someone else but you will also save money.
Road will publicize your bus trip to other attendees if your group is willing to accept non-guild members. Please contact
for more information about this service.
- Advance tickets for 30 or more bus passengers only are $8 per person for a one-day pass, a savings of $2.00 per person.
- Tickets will be mailed upon receipt of payment. In order to mail tickets we must receive your check on or before January 2, 2010
- Each person will receive a complimentary Show Program, a savings of $1.00 per person.
- We will provide a free admission bracelet for the bus coordinator as a thank you for organizing the trip.
- If your group is staying overnight the discounted multi-day pass will be $15.00, a savings of $5.00 per person.
Bus Parking
The Convention Center has allotted space in a nearby lot for bus parking, however there will be a charge of $60.00 per bus per day. Road to California will subsidize the bus parking fee by paying $20 per bus, leaving a cost to you of $40.00. That is about $1.00 more per person. If you choose not to purchase a bus-parking pass then parking will be quite a distance from the quilt show. There is neither a vacant lot nor street parking near the Convention Center.
In order to process your request we must have your check by January 2. No credit cards please.
