Both blocks measure 16” square when finished. In the morning session we’ll cut templates and sew a Diamond Path block. Ideally, you will likely have time to trace/cut templates for the afternoon session (the more complex block) and even choose fabrics. Concentrated sewing in the afternoon.

From 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM

Roadies Give Back is our outreach event Saturday January 26 2019 at 6:00pm, we are asking all our Roadies to join together on a labor of love; a Saturday evening sew-a-thon! We need people to help with all areas of the quilts – piecing, quilting, binding and so on. We will donate $5 from each paid participant to the Robert and Beverly Lewis Cancer Care Center.

Using Jenny Doan’s X’s and O’s pattern – we are asking Roadies to join together and create quilts for cancer patients.

Teaming up with the Robert and Beverly Lewis Cancer Care Center, we are asking Roadies to make as many blocks as they can. The Robert and Beverly Lewis Cancer Care Center has between 800-900 new cancer patients. The center prides itself on providing personal care and state-of-the-art technology. Road also has a connection to the center – Matt’s mother Shellee is the Administrative Director of the Cancer Program. For more information on Roadies Give Back please email: roadiesgiveback@gmail.com
