They saw different quilt posts and began following quilters and fiber\nartists who inspired them to begin making their own creations.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Two years ago, they made their first quilts. It was part of a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.patbravo.com\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Pat Bravo (opens in a new tab)\">Pat Bravo<\/a> Quilt Hop, using her \u201cHeartland Collection.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/road2ca.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Elise-and-Emelie4-1024x416.png\" alt=\"Instagram Quilters Road to California Quilt Show\" class=\"wp-image-6496\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Knowing that\nPat likes to promote sewists, Elise and Emilie reached out to Pat and sent her photos\nof their finished quilts from the blog hop. They offered to promote and blog\nabout Pat\u2019s fabric line. That led to the sisters promoting other fabric lines\non their Instagram account. Elise admits that they love to \u201choard fabrics and\ncreate new projects.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lots of designers\nsend their fabrics to these Instagram quilters and allow Elise and Emilie to come\nup with ways to showcase the new fabrics.
