Christmas Eve finds the Reese extended family gathered together to share their family’s traditions. This year, Carolyn, her sons and their families (which includes Carolyn’s four great-grandchildren) are gathering at son Dave’s home. Included in the annual festivities is a visit from Santa Claus. Many years ago, Carolyn created the Reese family Santa Suit. It has been worn by her sons and grandson to the delight of young and old. Carolyn learned to sew at 8 years of age under the guidance of her grandmother. Years later, Carolyn perfected her sewing skills working for May Co. in Lakewood, California. Her specialty in alterations provided the perfect experience needed to put together an authentic Santa Suit. In 2010, grandson Matt wore the suit. Here he is entertaining Carolyn’s great-grandson K.J. and K.J.’s mom, Carie:
All of the Reese family join together to wish you a very Merry Christmas. We are looking forward to seeing you in the New Year at Road to California.
