I started quilting in 1989, and since then have accumulated a LOT of scraps that need to be used up!
It is my first year at Road and I am already packed and signed up for classes everyday. I am a new quilter and need all the ideas I can get to keep my learning experience going. Thanks Road!!!
I’m going to Road with my mom in 2015. She’s 83 years old and still going strong! Neither of us have attended before and are looking forward to the classes we’ve signed up for and being amongst other quilters.

This is perfect for me! I live in CA, but in an area that gets snow. I need to make a new jacket and sweat shirt, I wear glasses so I need a glass case and you never know when you will need a baby boy outfit!

I want to win this because I have a huge pile full of selvages from every fabric I’ve cut into! I have no idea what I’m going to do with them, so I need that book shown in your prize package! Also, I keep all scraps for using in other projects, so the scrappy book would be used too! The other items will definitely find a place in my project list.

I vowed for the year of 2014 to not purchase any new fabrics and to use just what was in my stash! It is nearly the end of 2014 and I have achieved this goal. My stash has gone down and I am feeling inspired by what I have been able to create with my stash!

When I began quilting and learned to trim the selvages, I was told to keep ’em. I have quite a stash of selvages and no idea what to make so the book would be put to immediate use:)
I also have made one eyeglass case but don’t really like the pattern so I could use five new ideas for making eyeglass cases. Thank you so much:)
